Versace Versus Spring 1992 Trousers
The star of Versus’s iconic Spring 1992 campaign, these vibrant leopard print jeans were worn by one of Gianni Versace’s favourite muses, Carla Bruni, as she reclined against male models Scott Benoit and Paul Locatelli. Tailored to a high-waist fit, they are cut from thick cotton which sits tight against the skin. Gianni Versace was known for his incredible print designs and these trousers are no exception. The leopard spots are charcoal black and really pop against the pale yellow and bright mustard background, still as vibrant as the day they were made and as they are in the campaign shots above. At the waist, a gold button is embossed with the brand’s instantly recognisable Medusa logo. The ankles have black zips to allow for ease when putting them on. These jeans are unlined and have no stretch.
