Dolce & Gabbana D&G Fall 1995 Dress

D&G, launched in 1994, served as Dolce & Gabbana’s youthful diffusion line throughout the 1990s, translating the brand’s signature sensuality into more playful, accessible designs. This mini dress dates to Fall 1995, when the brand sent models down the runway in its signature underwear-as-outerwear looks. Echoing that aesthetic, the dress features an exposed bra integrated into the bodice, with signature adjustable bra-strap detailing. Cut with an empire waist and shaped like a negligee, it has a bra clasp fastening at the back and an open back. The lower half is made from black jersey, with a wrap-front that ties at the side beneath the bust. A satin bow accents the front of the bra. The dress is unlined and fastens at the centre back with a concealed tonal zip.
